When did Sammy Hagar and Kari Karte get married?
Hagar and Karte married in 1995. Fox News reported the year in May 2024 and specified November 1995 in a November 2024 report; neither account establishes a definitive wedding day. Fox News, May 4, 2024; Fox News, November 26, 2024.
How did they meet?
In Fox News’s account of their story, Karte recalled first meeting Hagar at a birthday party during a Van Halen tour. They sat together and, as she put it, “We instantly just clicked, and we were just buddies.” The report says they later reconnected at another Van Halen concert. This is the couple’s reported recollection, rather than an independently documented timeline.
