Michael Sheen’s partner is the Swedish actor Anna Lundberg. The Guardian reported in 2024 that Sheen revealed the relationship in 2019, and the couple have two daughters together. Sheen’s most recent interview in the sources reviewed, published by the Guardian on 10 March 2025, still refers to Lundberg as his partner. The sources do not establish a marriage or engagement.
Who is Anna Lundberg?
Anna Lundberg is an actor. A 2024 Guardian profile of Sheen describes her as a Swedish actor, which is the main public description of her in the reporting reviewed for this article. Coverage of her career is limited, so readers looking for a filmography should check her professional credits directly rather than relying on the celebrity press.

When the relationship became public
According to the Guardian’s 2024 profile, Sheen revealed the relationship in 2019. That article is the source for the date, and the reporting does not describe how or where the announcement was made.
The children
The Guardian reports that Sheen and Lundberg have two daughters together. ITV News Wales published a report dated 20 May 2022 on the couple announcing the birth of a child. Its headline describes the baby as a third child, while the Guardian’s account of the family refers to two daughters with Lundberg. The reporting does not reconcile the birth order, so this article does not state which child was born in 2022.

Sheen on the age difference
The Guardian’s 2024 profile gives a 25-year age difference between the two and attributes Sheen’s comments about its challenges to an interview. Asked about it on The Assembly, Sheen said:
“We were both aware it would be difficult and challenging. Ultimately, we felt it was worth it because of how we felt about each other, and now we have two beautiful children together.”
Aftonbladet, a Swedish outlet, also reported these remarks, citing a BBC interview. The age figure is taken from reporting in 2024 and is not an independent calculation of the couple’s current ages.
