Manchester City reported their marriage in June 2017, and the couple have three children, named as Suri, Mason and Rome in a 2022 Guardian interview.
Who Michèle De Bruyne is
Michèle Lacroix is the wife of the Belgian midfielder Kevin De Bruyne. Her surname before marriage was Lacroix, and she is known publicly as Michèle De Bruyne. The accent in her first name is the spelling used in the sources most often; some reports drop it as “Michele,” so readers searching either form are looking for the same person.
Most of what is publicly known about her comes from De Bruyne’s own remarks and from club and press reporting. She has not, in the sources reviewed, given a long interview of her own.
When they married
Manchester City’s club website reported the wedding in a June 2017 round-up of news, titled “Things We Love: Kev’s wedding & Bravo heroics” by Rob Pollard. The report says De Bruyne had married his girlfriend, Michele Lacroix, the previous week. It also reproduces his public post from 26 June 2017: “So proud I can call you my wife now!”

Their children
In a November 2022 interview with Simon Hattenstone for The Guardian, the couple’s three children are named as Suri, Mason and Rome. The article’s photo caption uses the same names. The interview does not give birth dates, so none are stated here.

How they reportedly met
A widely shared account says the two first connected on Twitter, when Lacroix favorited one of De Bruyne’s tweets and a friend of his then messaged her on his behalf. USA Insider attributes this story to De Bruyne’s 2019 Players’ Tribune interview. The Players’ Tribune piece itself was not checked for this article, so the meeting story should be read as De Bruyne’s account as relayed by USA Insider in a May 2023 profile, not as a directly verified quote.

Family life in his own words
In the 2022 Guardian interview, De Bruyne described family as the centre of his life away from football. The article presents Lacroix as taking part in the joint family interview and notes that she had started a podcast at that time. That detail reflects 2022 reporting only; the sources do not establish what she does professionally today.
The line most often quoted from that interview is: “Away from football, it’s all about family. This is my life.” It is De Bruyne speaking in the Guardian article cited above.
