Those reports do not establish whether they are together now, on October 8, 2026.
Who was Emma Watson linked with?
March 2026 coverage linked Watson to Gonzalo Hevia Baillères, a Mexican entrepreneur. EL PAÍS México reported on March 4 that they had been seen dining in Mexico City, vacationing in Punta Mita and kissing near an airport. The outlet attributed the photographs to Quién and described the relationship as dating from December 2025; that timeline was the outlet’s account, not a direct confirmation from the pair. EL PAÍS México’s report also noted that the image quality made some details difficult to distinguish.

On March 9, the South China Morning Post said Watson had first been spotted with Baillères in Courchevel in late 2025 and was later seen with him in Mexico. Its report described him as a “rumored boyfriend” and said the photographs seemingly confirmed the status—cautious language that matters when there has been no direct announcement. Has Emma Watson confirmed the relationship?
The reports reviewed did not include a direct public confirmation from Watson or Baillères. Photographs and accounts of sightings support saying they were linked or reported to be dating; they do not establish a confirmed relationship announcement.

ELLE, reporting on March 7, said People had reported that Watson was dating Baillères. ELLE also attributed the descriptions “really into” him and “on cloud nine” to an unnamed source. Those phrases are not Watson’s own words. ELLE’s account makes that sourcing distinction important.

The latest directly relevant coverage located for this answer is from March 2026. It does not establish whether Watson and Baillères are still together on October 8, 2026, so it would be inaccurate to describe either their relationship as ongoing or Watson as single now.

Watson has previously explained why she tends to keep relationships private. In a 2017 Vanity Fair interview, quoted by ELLE, she said: “I’ve noticed, in Hollywood, who you’re dating gets tied up into your film promotion and becomes part of the performance and the circus. I would hate anyone that I were with to feel like they were in any way part of a show or an act.” Her September 2025 conversation on the Jay Shetty podcast, also recounted in ELLE’s dating-history article, predates the March 2026 reports and should not be used to infer her later status.
