Netflix Tudum described her as his girlfriend in a 2024 profile tied to the football documentary Receiver, and other 2024 entertainment profiles say the two share a son, Tyshun. Those descriptions are the most recent confirmed public account. No source found for this article confirms their relationship status as of October 2026, so the couple should be described as “linked as of 2024” rather than as currently together.
Who Mahogany Jones is publicly linked to
Jones is a private figure outside of the coverage tied to Samuel’s career and family life. Most of what is publicly known about her comes from profiles written in 2024, when interest in Samuel rose around Receiver, a documentary about his football career. Her public role is largely as the mother of Samuel’s son, and she is identified in those profiles as his girlfriend.

Education and professional background
A 2024 Yahoo profile reports that Jones earned a bachelor’s degree in mathematics from North Carolina Agricultural and Technical State University. AS USA’s 2024 profile of the couple also covers her education. Profiles describe her as an entrepreneur and say she has fashion and modeling interests. Those descriptions are attributed to the profiles themselves and have not been confirmed by her current employers or representatives.
Shades of Mahogany: the former clothing brand
Jones is associated with Shades of Mahogany, a clothing company that the Yahoo profile says sold swimwear and loungewear. The same profile says the brand’s Instagram account appeared not to have been updated since 2021. AS USA’s 2024 profile reports that the company website appeared to have been taken down. Neither source establishes current business activity, so the brand should be described as a former or apparently inactive label, not as an active shop.

What is not established as of October 2026
- Current relationship status. The most recent relationship coverage found dates from 2024. It does not say whether the couple are still together.
- Jones’s current work. No current source describes a current business, modeling project or employer.
- Social media reach. Follower counts in older profiles are dated and have not been verified against current figures, so they are not repeated here.
Samuel’s career context is current, though it does not address Jones. NFL.com’s 2026 report says he returned to the 49ers ahead of the 2026 season after a season with Washington. That report does not mention Jones or their relationship, so it should not be read as a signal about their status.
Anything beyond the dated reports above, including any claim about the couple’s living arrangements or private life, is outside what published coverage supports.
