Two episodes of Daredevil: Born Again were paired for release on March 31, 2026, in North and South America, and April 1 in other regions. The episodes were Season 2’s “Shoot the Moon” and “The Scales & The Sword.” Disney and Marvel had not publicly explained why they released those two together, according to TechRadar’s schedule report. As of October 8, 2026, the season has concluded and is streaming in full on Disney+.
Which two episodes were released together?
The reported double release paired Season 2, Episode 2, “Shoot the Moon,” with Episode 3, “The Scales & The Sword.” The schedule put them out on Tuesday, March 31, 2026, in North and South America, and Wednesday, April 1, elsewhere, reflecting regional release dates rather than two separate drops everywhere.

Why were the episodes paired?
No public explanation for the pairing was given in the reporting reviewed. The schedule confirms that the episodes were released together, but it does not establish whether the decision was driven by programming, marketing, or the story. Any more specific explanation would be speculation.
Why did the date differ by region?
Streaming release dates can fall on different calendar days in different time zones. Disney’s season guide lists March 24, 2026, as the Season 2 premiere date, while Disney UK’s press release specifies March 25 at 2 a.m. GMT. Those dates describe the same premiere as presented for different regions, not necessarily conflicting schedules.
#1 Best Overall
The double release followed the premiere: March 31 in the Americas and April 1 elsewhere. Disney’s May 2026 schedule listed the U.S. finale for May 5 at 6 p.m. PT; the complete season is now available on Disney+.
Is Season 2 still releasing new episodes?
No. The season’s finale was scheduled for May 5, 2026, at 6 p.m. PT, and Disney’s season guide says all eight episodes are streaming on Disney+. Disney describes the season as a story in which Mayor Wilson Fisk hunts Daredevil while Matt Murdock fights back against Fisk’s rule and corrupt empire.
