Vogue reports that the couple married on May 25, 2025, at Bellosguardo Estate in Santa Barbara, California. They met while writing songs for Lovato’s album Holy Fvck, and the coverage of their wedding is the most detailed public account of their relationship available.
Who Jutes is
Jordan Lutes records and performs as Jutes. Vogue reports that he was born in Ottawa, later lived in Toronto, and moved to Los Angeles to pursue music. The sources establish that the two met while working on the album. They do not give a precise date for when dating began, so the “nearly two years” figure should be read as Vogue’s description rather than a verified start date.

Vogue’s wedding feature reports that 135 friends and family attended the ceremony. Its coverage, including the venue, attire and direct quotations, is in its wedding slideshow.

Lovato and Lutes both spoke to Vogue about the marriage. Lovato’s remarks are the source of the “soulmate” language that appears in the headlines around the wedding:
