Whitney Leavitt made her Broadway debut as Roxie Hart in Chicago on February 2, 2026, at the Ambassador Theatre in New York City. Her engagement was extended and ultimately ended May 3, 2026; she is no longer in the production.
When and where Leavitt performed
The Shubert Organization announced on February 18, 2026, that Leavitt had made her debut as Roxie Hart on February 2 at the Ambassador Theatre, 219 West 49th Street, New York City. Shubert’s announcement identifies the performance as her Broadway debut.
How long her Chicago engagement lasted
Leavitt’s first announced engagement was scheduled through March 15, 2026. Shubert later announced that she would return from March 23 through April 5. The Internet Broadway Database records her engagement from February 2 through May 3, with no performances March 16–22. Her run therefore concluded on May 3, rather than ending with the initial March date or the announced April return.
