In 2026 she recorded material for songwriter Diane Warren and released a single, while describing recovery as gradual. A future album and tour are hopes she has voiced—not confirmed projects with release dates or schedules.
Where is Susan Boyle now?
Boyle remains based in, or closely connected to, Blackburn, West Lothian. Her official website says she stays true to her roots there, and TV Insider reported in April 2026 that she still lived in her family home in Blackburn. That report does not establish details of her daily routine or provide a reason to identify a more specific location.

Her official biography says she has sold more than 25 million albums worldwide. That figure is the artist website’s own career claim; the page does not state a date for it.
What is she doing musically?
Recording new material
In a June 2026 report, STV said Boyle had been in the studio recording “a couple of things” for songwriter Diane Warren. Boyle also said she hoped to visit Warren in Los Angeles, but described that as “in the pipeline” and said she wanted to take her time. The report supports that she has been recording; it does not establish a scheduled collaboration or album release.

A 2026 single, not a new album
Apple Music lists “Just One Cornetto (ReMAXed)” as a single released on June 19, 2026. Her latest full-length album identified in the reporting is A Wonderful World, released in 2016; Apple Music also lists that album. The single is a new release, not evidence that a new album has been announced.
STV also reported Boyle’s appearances in 2026 Cornetto and IRN-BRU advertising campaigns. A fan archive identifies the IRN-BRU campaign song as “We’re Made in Scotland from Girders” and gives June 2, 2026, as its release date; that campaign detail comes from the archive rather than a brand announcement.

How is Susan Boyle doing after her stroke?
Boyle has said she suffered a stroke in 2022 and had “got over most of it.” Her health updates come from interviews, not an independent medical assessment. STV reported that she described public support as encouraging during difficult periods.
In June 2026, The Independent reported that Boyle had undergone speech therapy and vocal lessons and quoted her saying that her singing voice still needed work. She described her progress this way: “I am taking wee baby steps. If you go too fast, too soon, you go down a hole. It took a while for my confidence to come back with my music. But I am getting there. Slowly.” Her comments describe an ongoing process, not a claim that recovery is complete.

Is Susan Boyle touring or releasing another album?
Boyle has expressed interest in both, but neither is confirmed as a scheduled project. In June 2026, she told The Independent: “One day I would love to go back on tour. It is something I am thinking about in the future. It really is baby steps. We’ll see where I play.” She also said she believes she has “another album in me.” No tour dates, venues, or next-album release date were established in the reporting.
STV quoted Boyle reflecting on the public’s response: “I’m very humbled by the public. They’ve been very friendly, very accepting.”
