The official Avengers: Doomsday trailer is already out. Disney UK and Marvel Japan announced it on 20 July 2026, and it is available to watch now. As of 8 October 2026, none of the official material reviewed announces a date for another trailer. The film’s cinema date is a separate question, and it differs by territory.
Is the trailer already available?
Yes. Disney UK published a news post on 20 July 2026 headed “Marvel Studios’ ‘Avengers: Doomsday’ Debuts New Trailer and Poster,” and it embeds the trailer directly in the article. Disney UK Press is the primary source for that announcement.
Marvel Japan announced the same trailer and poster on the same day. Its 20 July 2026 news post is the Japanese-language primary source. On Disney+, the title’s listing reads “Theatrical Trailer Available Now,” which confirms the trailer is live on that service as of the date of review. The Disney+ entry describes the film as a December 2026 theatrical release and does not state a streaming date for the film itself.
Film release dates by territory
People searching for the trailer schedule often mix up the trailer date with the film’s opening. The two are separate, and the official announcements give different dates for different regions.

| Territory | Theatrical date | Official source |
|---|---|---|
| United Kingdom | 16 December 2026 | Disney UK Press, 20 July 2026 |
| Japan | 18 December 2026 (simultaneous with the US) | Marvel Japan, 20 July 2026 |
| United States | 18 December 2026 (simultaneous with Japan) | Marvel Japan, 20 July 2026 |
Because the UK and the US/Japan dates differ, do not quote one date as worldwide. Disney UK’s post describes the film as “Marvel Studios’ highly anticipated 16 December cinematic release,” and that wording applies to the UK only. The Marvel Japan announcement states the 18 December opening for Japan and the US.
What is not yet known
- A next trailer date. The official sources reviewed do not announce when another trailer will arrive or set any release cadence.
- Trailer counts on Marvel Japan’s page. Marvel Japan’s film page lists a trailer, a teaser, and clips focused on Wakanda and the Fantastic Four, X-Men, Thor, and Steve Rogers. The page does not give a dated schedule for future releases, so the number of entries does not indicate upcoming drops.
- A streaming date. The Disney+ listing confirms the trailer and the theatrical window only. It does not set a date for the film on the service.
Where to check for updates
- The Disney UK Press news page for UK announcements.
- The Marvel Japan news post and the Marvel Japan film page for Japan-specific material and the US/Japan opening.
- The Disney+ title listing for the current availability label.
Any future trailer will be announced through these official channels first. Treat unofficial countdowns or leaked dates as unconfirmed until one of them publishes the date.
