Damien Leone’s pick is the Allie bedroom scene in Terrifier 2. The writer-director and effects artist has called it his favorite kill in the series and said he was proud of how it came together technically. That makes it the clearest answer from the person who created the films—not an objective verdict on what every viewer will find most disturbing.
Why Leone singled out the Allie scene
Leone’s preference has two parts: the scene is his favorite kill in the series, and he is especially proud of its technical execution. In a Slashfilm interview, he said, “But in terms of a technical level and the way it came out, I really am proud of the bedroom kill scene, the Allie kill from ‘Terrifier 2.’”

The distinction matters. A director’s favorite can reflect the work involved in staging and executing a sequence as much as its emotional effect. The interviews support describing the scene as a notable technical achievement and Leone’s personal choice; they do not establish a universal audience ranking.

- A maniacal clown named Art terrorizes three young women on Halloween night and everyone else who stands in his way.
| Scene | Why it stands out | What it emphasizes |
|---|---|---|
| Allie’s bedroom scene, Terrifier 2 | Leone’s stated favorite kill in the series; he has also praised its technical execution. | Escalation, effects craft and emotional shock. |
| The hacksaw kill, Terrifier | A defining set piece from the first film and an obvious contender for franchise memorability. | Anticipation, stark simplicity and its iconic place in the series. |
| The chainsaw shower sequence, Terrifier 3 | Leone identified it as a major set piece in the third film, while also pointing to other horrific sequences. | Setting, spectacle and escalation. |
These are useful points of comparison, not a ranked consensus. Someone drawn to elaborate practical-effects work may choose Allie’s bedroom scene; another viewer may find the first film’s hacksaw sequence more indelible, or prefer the spectacle of the shower set piece.

If the question is asking for the best-supported single answer, it is Allie’s bedroom scene in Terrifier 2: Leone named it his favorite and specifically praised how it was executed. If the question is asking which one will stay with a particular viewer, there is no objective measure in the available sources. The hacksaw scene and the Terrifier 3 chainsaw shower remain strong alternatives, depending on what that viewer finds most shocking or memorable.
