9 Songs (2004) is the clearest answer if “more graphic” means explicit sexual activity: the British Board of Film Classification (BBFC) passed it uncut with an 18 classification for frequent, strong real sex. That is not a measured ranking of nudity against Eyes Wide Shut. If you mean sustained nudity specifically, Romance and Nymphomaniac are also candidates.
Why 9 Songs is the clearest answer
The BBFC’s 2004 classification record for 9 Songs gives the British drama an 18 rating, uncut, for frequent, strong real sex. The board described it as a story exploring a relationship through sexual activity, and said that narrative context justified passing the film uncut. Its press statement characterized the film as portraying a relationship’s development and including scenes of explicit, real sexual activity.

This makes 9 Songs a strong recommendation when “graphic” means explicit sex. It does not establish that the film contains more visible nudity than Eyes Wide Shut: the BBFC does not provide a comparative nudity count or rank the films on a shared scale.
Other candidates, depending on what you mean by graphic
Romance
The BBFC describes Romance as containing strong nudity throughout, including sight of erections, alongside sequences of real sexual activity. It may be a closer fit if your main interest is sustained, visible nudity rather than a direct comparison of sexual explicitness.

Nymphomaniac
The BBFC’s 2014 records for Nymphomaniac Vol. I and Nymphomaniac Vol. II describe strong real sex and nudity or unsimulated sexual activity. TIME’s 2015 roundup also notes explicit sexual scenes in Nymphomaniac, though that is editorial context rather than a formal comparison with Eyes Wide Shut.
Independent reader supportYour contribution helps us test, update, and keep practical guides available for everyone. How to interpret the comparison
“More graphic nudity” can refer to the amount of nudity shown or to how explicit the sexual activity is. Those are different measures, and the available classifications do not provide a common scale for comparing these films with Eyes Wide Shut. No substantiated scene count or published ranking establishes which has more nudity.
Rank #2
- For explicit sexual activity, start with 9 Songs.
- For descriptions emphasizing sustained nudity, consider Romance.
- For another film described as featuring strong real sex and nudity, consider Nymphomaniac.
These descriptions identify content and classification, not a quantitative ranking. A 2009 forum thread using the same question wording includes suggestions such as Ken Park, but audience replies are anecdotal and do not verify a film’s content or settle the comparison.
