For contemporary Christian music on SiriusXM, tune to The Message on channel 78. SiriusXM also carries Christian music in other styles: gospel on Kirk Franklin’s Praise (channel 77), worship on Message Worship (channel 79), and harmony-driven gospel on Bill Gaither’s enLighten (channel 147). Which one is right depends on the sound you want, and the numbers below reflect SiriusXM’s directory as of October 2026.
Which channel to choose
If you simply want Christian music and do not have a particular style in mind, start with The Message. SiriusXM describes it as contemporary Christian music, and its channel page calls it “Contemporary Christian music delivered by compassionate hosts to encourage you and your family on your faith journey.” The channel uses pop and rock music with a faith-centered purpose, so it suits listeners who want current-sounding songs rather than traditional hymns.
Pick a different channel when the style matters more than the label:
- Kirk Franklin’s Praise, channel 77 is the gospel option, with the urban and choir-driven sound that the name suggests.
- Message Worship, channel 79 focuses on uplifting worship music, suited to devotional listening and church-style songs.
- Bill Gaither’s enLighten, channel 147 plays harmony-driven gospel, the vocal-group tradition associated with the Gaither name.

Other Christian listening options
SiriusXM’s Christian directory also lists Holy Culture Radio, which plays Christian hip-hop music along with talk programming. Some other Christian offerings are available only in the SiriusXM app rather than on the radio. These are worth checking if you want a specific genre, but they are not needed for a general search for Christian music. Keep in mind that the four channels above are music channels; religious talk stations are a separate category.
