Spoilers for the Fire Force manga finale: Arthur Boyle survives. In the epilogue, set 25 years later, he appears alive with Excalibur and greets his returning friends as a dragon flies overhead.
Does Arthur die in Fire Force?
No. Arthur is not shown dying in the manga’s final conflict. His last appearance comes in the epilogue to chapter 304, 25 years later: he is alive, carries Excalibur, and turns to greet his returning friends. The dragon passing overhead is part of the scene. The chapter 304 summary describes this closing appearance.

What is different about the world in the epilogue?
The reunion takes place after the Cataclysm, in a world where the Special Fire Force has been disbanded. Former members establish the World Heroes Force, so Arthur’s scene is a reunion with former comrades rather than a return to the old fire-service organization. The chapter summary gives the epilogue context.
What does the ending establish about Arthur’s future?
The ending confirms that Arthur survives and is present with Excalibur 25 years later. It does not establish his day-to-day occupation, give a detailed later biography, or confirm a romantic outcome. The scene offers a glimpse of his reunion, not a full account of his life after the main story.
