What “crazy teeth” means in the headline
The interviews discussed Paradis’s gap or gap-toothed smile; the available reporting does not establish “crazy teeth” as her own phrase. A 2010 Guardian profile describes the gap between her front teeth, but does not attribute that label to her.
The Johnny Depp joke—and its clarification
In a 2010 interview with the London Evening Standard, Paradis joked that Johnny Depp had “stole my teeth” for his Mad Hatter look. The article also quotes her clarifying, “I’m joking.” It was a light aside about the character’s appearance, not evidence that she was embarrassed by her own smile.
