Agatha All Along reveals that Billy survives in William Kaplan’s body, while Tommy’s soul is placed in another body. Billy sets out to find his brother; the series does not show them reuniting.
Why Billy and Tommy disappeared in WandaVision
In WandaVision, Wanda and Vision’s twin sons are part of the family Wanda creates inside the Westview Hex. When she dismantles the Hex, the boys’ child forms disappear with it. That ending leaves their fate unresolved rather than confirming that they are gone forever. Disney identifies WandaVision as a Marvel Studios series in the MCU: Disney’s WandaVision press page.

What Agatha All Along reveals about the twins
Agatha All Along takes up the question of Billy’s fate. The Los Angeles Times’ episode guide reports that the series is set three years after WandaVision and reveals that Teen is Billy Maximoff, living in William Kaplan’s body. Billy takes the identity Wiccan and follows the Witches’ Road while searching for Tommy. The series is identified on Marvel’s Agatha All Along page.
Billy: alive as Wiccan
Billy’s survival is through a new life in William Kaplan’s body, not a return to his original child form in Westview. His story in the series develops into the Wiccan identity.
Tommy: his soul is in another body
The finale establishes that Tommy’s soul has been placed in another body. Billy leaves intending to find him, so the brothers’ reunion remains unresolved at the end of the series.
Independent reader supportYour contribution helps us test, update, and keep practical guides available for everyone. How the comics version differs
Marvel’s comics continuity gives the twins a related but distinct history. Wanda’s magically created sons’ spirits find new hosts: Billy Kaplan becomes Wiccan, and Tommy Shepherd becomes Speed. They reconnect as members of the Young Avengers and learn their connection to the Scarlet Witch. Marvel describes their subsequent history in its Wiccan & Speed reading guide, including their relationship with Wanda.
Rank #2
That comics history is useful context, not proof that the MCU will follow every event or origin in the same way. In the MCU, the established facts are Billy’s life in William Kaplan’s body and Tommy’s soul in another body; the series ends with Billy searching, not with the brothers together.
Optional comics reading
For the comics version of Billy and Tommy’s search for Wanda, Marvel’s Young Avengers Modern Era Epic Collection: The Children’s Crusade collects Avengers: The Children’s Crusade #1–9 and related material. It is a comics follow-up, not required viewing to understand the MCU story.
