O.J. Simpson had five children with two wives. His daughter Aaren died in 1979; his four surviving children—Arnelle, Jason, Sydney and Justin—are adults. Public reporting records parts of their lives, but does not reliably establish where all four live or work today. The clearest account is therefore a dated update, not a definitive whereabouts report.
How many children did O.J. Simpson have?
Simpson had three children with his first wife, Marguerite Whitley, and two with his second wife, Nicole Brown Simpson. Arnelle and Jason survived to adulthood. Their younger sister, Aaren, died in 1979 after drowning in the family swimming pool, shortly before her second birthday. Sydney and Justin, Simpson’s children with Nicole, were children when their mother was killed in 1994.
Simpson and Whitley married in 1967 and divorced in 1979. He married Nicole Brown in 1985; they divorced in 1992. Simpson died in Las Vegas on April 10, 2024, after prostate cancer. The Associated Press identified Arnelle, Jason, Sydney and Justin as his four surviving adult children. His estate attorney said they were the estate’s only beneficiaries.

| Child | Parentage | What dated reporting says | What it does not establish |
|---|---|---|---|
| Arnelle Simpson | Daughter of Marguerite Whitley and O.J. Simpson | She spoke in support of her father at his 2017 parole hearing. Us Weekly reported that she told Georgia Newsday in 2014 she had worked for a rapper and produced fashion shows. | Those reports do not establish her present occupation or residence. |
| Jason Simpson | Son of Marguerite Whitley and O.J. Simpson | Us Weekly cited a 2016 Los Angeles Times report describing him as a chef and culinary director at an Atlanta restaurant. The magazine also noted a rare podcast interview in 2021. | The older career account does not confirm where he lives or works now. |
| Sydney Simpson | Daughter of Nicole Brown Simpson and O.J. Simpson | Us Weekly reported that she earned a sociology degree from Boston University and pursued real estate. It attributed a report about Florida properties to the Tampa Bay Times in 2016. | The dated education and property reporting does not establish her current residence or occupation. |
| Justin Simpson | Son of Nicole Brown Simpson and O.J. Simpson | Us Weekly reported that he worked in real estate and that he and his partner were expecting a child in 2022. In April 2024, his godfather David Brobeck said, as quoted by Us Weekly, that Sydney and Justin were grown, had families and were doing well. | The reports and Brobeck’s supportive family comment are not a comprehensive or independently verified update on Justin’s current circumstances. |
Why aren’t their current whereabouts clear?
The available coverage offers snapshots rather than a reliable, comprehensive account of all four adults’ present-day locations and work. An old job description or property report cannot establish that someone still has that job or lives in that place. Their private lives should not be filled in with guesses drawn from property records, social media speculation or anonymous posts.
After Simpson’s death, his family asked the public to respect its “privacy and grace.” His estate attorney, Malcolm LaVergne, described the unusual burden of growing up with a famous and controversial parent: “You have to remember that they’ve shared O.J. with the world their entire lives,” he told the Associated Press in April 2024. That context matters when interpreting how little reliable information is publicly available about the adult children.

- Aaren’s death was a family tragedy; public accounts describe it as a swimming pool drowning in 1979.
- Sydney and Justin were children when Nicole Brown Simpson was killed in 1994. Nothing in this account implies they were responsible for or participants in the events surrounding the crime.
- Simpson was acquitted in the criminal case concerning the murders of Nicole Brown Simpson and Ronald Goldman; a later civil case resulted in a judgment against him. He was not convicted of the murders in a criminal trial.
For the four surviving children, the most accurate answer to “Where are they today?” is that public sources document selected past milestones, but do not reliably report each person’s current location and occupation.
