The Southern Charm cast works across reality television, home and lifestyle businesses, hospitality, content creation, design, beauty, music, and writing. One cast member has also been documented as a surgical-robot operator. Several people have more than one documented role, and some of those roles are past jobs rather than current ones. The careers below are tied to the source and date of each claim, and the roster is taken from Bravo’s October 5, 2026 Season 12 announcement.
Who is in the current cast
Bravo’s October 5, 2026 Season 12 announcement is the current reference for who is on the show. It separates three groups: returning cast, a newcomer, and people listed as appearing. The season is scheduled to premiere November 12, 2026, so it has not aired yet.

| Madison LeCroy | Returning cast |
| Salley Carson | Returning cast |
| Venita Aspen | Returning cast |
| Molly O’Connell | Returning cast |

| Allie Newman | Newcomer |
| Patricia Altschul | Listed as appearing |
| Whitney Sudler-Smith | Listed as appearing |
| Charley Manley | Listed as appearing |
| Taylor Ann Green | Listed as appearing; not described as core cast |
Shep Rose is not on the Season 12 roster, but his career is covered below because readers still ask about him.
What each cast member does
Bravo’s career material comes from several pages with different dates. Where a job is described in an older overview, that is noted. Where a current bio does not state a job, the article says so instead of filling the gap.
#1 Best Overall
Craig Conover
Bravo’s older career overview calls Craig a lawyer. A 2026 Bravo update says he passed the bar exam but is not practicing law, so law is best described as his training and credential rather than his present work. His documented business and production work is broader: he is the founder of Sewing Down South, has relaunched a home-decor line and a hand-poured candle line, and is involved with the Charleston venue By the Way and with Plaid Horse Productions. He co-hosts the Pillows and Beer podcast and runs restaurant ventures with Austen Kroll. He also wrote the 2022 memoir Pillow Talk: What’s Wrong with My Sewing?
Austen Kroll
Bravo identifies Austen as the founder of the beer brand Trop Hop. It also documents his restaurant ventures and his podcast with Craig Conover. His Season 12 return is confirmed, but the announcement does not give him a new job description, so beer, hospitality, and podcasting are his documented work rather than a complete employment record.
Shep Rose
Shep wrote Average Expectations: Lessons in Lowering the Bar, published in 2021. Bravo’s December 11, 2025 interview describes him as having a new career move in writing and reports that he was preparing another book. His real-estate work in Dubai is a past job. In a 2017 appearance on Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen, Bravo quotes him saying: “I’ve worked in Dubai. I’ve sold real [estate]. I lived in Dubai and sold real estate. It was crazy. So right now I’m happy just kind of being the bon vivant as it were.” That is a 2017 statement about his lifestyle at the time, not a current job description, and the sources do not establish a current conventional day job for him.

Madison LeCroy
Bravo’s career overview, which covers the Season 10 cast, describes Madison as a hairdresser and content creator who does brand partnerships. Her Season 12 bio calls her a business owner but does not name the business, so no salon or company should be attributed to her from these pages.

Venita Aspen
Bravo describes Venita as a fashion influencer and content creator in its Season 10 overview. Her Season 12 bio centers on her relationships with other cast members and a party she hosts. It does not describe a separate day job.
Molly O’Connell
Bravo says Molly continued modeling after America’s Next Top Model. Later coverage says she was pursuing music, and her Season 12 bio says her music career continues and mentions songwriting and guitar. Music is her developing, current pursuit. It is not the only occupation the sources establish for her, and it is not a settled full-time career claim.
Rank #3
- Factory sealed DVD
Salley Carson
Bravo’s Season 10 career overview says Salley works as a spine-surgery robot operator. Her Season 12 announcement confirms her return but does not restate that job, so the role should be attributed to the earlier overview.
Rodrigo Reyes
Bravo’s Season 10 overview describes Rodrigo as an interior and floral designer who operates RAR Designs. His Season 12 return is confirmed, but the official Season 12 bio does not restate his occupation.
Taylor Ann Green
Bravo identifies Taylor as co-founder of the lifestyle brand Reset Athletic. It also notes earlier work in sales for Day Chaser and as an orthodontics assistant. The latest announcement lists her as appearing, so her current on-screen role is narrower than the core returning cast.
Cast members without a confirmed occupation
The reviewed official Season 12 bios do not specify occupations for Whitner Slagsvol or Allie Newman. For Patricia Altschul, the Season 12 bio excerpt does not give a current job. An older Bravo profile describes Whitney Sudler-Smith as the caretaker and owner of the family mansion, but that is a partial description rather than a full occupational profile. No job is stated for Charley Manley in the material available.
Former cast members outside the current roster
Bravo’s Season 10 overview calls Leva Bonaparte a restaurateur who co-owns Charleston bars and restaurants with her husband. An older Bravo overview describes Jarrett “JT” Thomas as a real-estate professional who owns luxury Charleston rental properties and invests, develops, and renovates real estate. Neither appears on the Season 12 roster, so their jobs are useful for the show’s history and do not describe the current cast.

What the sources do not establish
All of these sources are Bravo and NBCUniversal editorial pages. They are reliable for the network’s roster, biographies, and on-record cast updates, but their career summaries can lag behind what cast members are doing now. They do not establish current ownership shares, current revenue, or current employment status for every cast member. They also contain no reliable income or net-worth figures, so this article does not offer any. Treat a listing as appearing or returning as a fact about the season, and treat a job as a fact about the date of the page that reports it.
Craig Conover’s memoir Pillow Talk: What’s Wrong with My Sewing? is the most concrete cast-related book, and it is one of the few creative projects that a reader can check directly.
