The twins who played Emma Geller-Green in the later seasons of Friends are identical sisters Noelle and Cali Sheldon. A September 2024 interview showed them as adults reflecting on the sitcom; that report said they were 22 and had graduated from UCLA. It is the latest located update, not confirmation of how they look or what they are doing in 2026.
Who played Emma on Friends?
Noelle and Cali Sheldon shared the role of Emma, the daughter of Rachel Green and Ross Geller. They took over the part in 2003, first appearing in “The One in Barbados,” and played Emma through the end of the series, according to Entertainment Tonight.
They were not the only twins to portray Emma. Earlier in the character’s infancy, the role was played by another set of twins, Athena and Alexandra Conley. The Sheldons are the twins associated with Emma’s later appearances.
What do Noelle and Cali Sheldon look like today?
The most recent located on-record appearance is a Good Morning Britain interview for the show’s 30th anniversary, reported by The Standard on September 20, 2024. The sisters appeared as adults and spoke about their connection to the sitcom. The report does not establish their appearance or activities in 2026, so a more specific description of how they look today would go beyond the available evidence.

What have the twins done since Friends?
The sisters continued acting after the sitcom. In Jordan Peele’s 2019 film Us, they played Becca and Lindsey Tyler. Entertainment Tonight also notes earlier credits in Novel Romance and the NBC pilot Life.

In a 2015 interview with Bustle, the sisters and their mother, Gretchen Carpenter, discussed their time on Friends. Noelle and Cali said they did not remember filming the show. Carpenter recalled that the cast and crew treated them warmly.

In the 2024 anniversary interview, the sisters again said they did not remember filming Friends. Cali Sheldon described the lasting connection to the sitcom this way: “It feels really cool getting to be part of a show that’s older than we are, Friends has been part of pop culture and television history since we were babies, I’m really grateful for it.” The quote was reported by The Standard.

Cali also shared her personal view of Ross and Rachel’s relationship, saying, “They’re definitely still together in my opinion”. That is her opinion about the characters, not an official statement about the show’s canon.
