Yes. Simple Plan and Bowling for Soup were included in coverage of the 2025 Vans Warped Tour lineup, with both named among acts for Washington, D.C., and Long Beach. But “lead” should not be read as “headlined”: the February 26 lineup posters listed artists alphabetically, so they did not establish official headliners. The three two-day festival dates have passed.
Where Simple Plan and Bowling for Soup appeared
The 2025 return was organized as three two-day festival stops, not a conventional multi-city tour. Lineup coverage placed both bands in the Washington, D.C., and Long Beach listings. An earlier announcement named Simple Plan for D.C. and Bowling for Soup for both D.C. and Long Beach. [iHeart; antiMusic]

|---|---|---|---|
| Washington, D.C. | June 14–15, 2025 | Festival Grounds at RFK Campus / RFK Stadium Festival Grounds | Simple Plan and Bowling for Soup appeared in lineup coverage. |
| Long Beach, California | July 26–27, 2025 | Downtown Long Beach Shoreline Waterfront | Both appeared in lineup coverage; Bowling for Soup was also in the initial announced schedule. |
| Orlando, Florida | November 15–16, 2025 | Camping World Stadium Campus | The cited coverage does not establish either band’s appearance at this stop. The shorter list of notable Orlando acts is not proof they were absent from the full poster. |

Were Simple Plan or Bowling for Soup headliners?
The available lineup announcement does not support calling either band an official headliner. The February 26 report said the posters listed names alphabetically, rather than by billing rank. Both were notable acts in the D.C. and Long Beach coverage, but alphabetical placement cannot show who played last or held the top billing. [iHeart]

What was announced about the lineup?
A January announcement named Simple Plan, Bowling for Soup, Pennywise, Miss May I, Dance Hall Crashers, and Chandler Leighton in the first wave. It said additional artists would be announced daily until February 26, when the complete lineup was expected. Billboard Canada reported a planned range of 70–100 bands per stop; that was a stated range, not a verified final performer count. [antiMusic; Billboard Canada]
What attendees were told in the 2025 FAQ
These are historical details from the event FAQ, not instructions for a future edition. The FAQ said doors opened at 11 a.m., except in Orlando, where Saturday doors were at noon and Sunday doors at 11 a.m. A two-day pass was scanned once per day; after use, it was not transferable. Re-entry was not allowed, and entry was available until one hour before the event ended. [Vans Warped Tour FAQ]

The FAQ also described the event as cashless, listing credit and debit cards, Samsung Pay, Apple Pay, and Android Pay as accepted payment methods. It said lockers included a universal phone charger and room for backpacks or purses, and that maps showing stages, food, and bathrooms would be available on the website and in the app before the event. [Vans Warped Tour FAQ]
For ticket purchases, the FAQ recommended buying directly from Front Gate and warned that holders of illegitimate passes would be turned away without a refund. It also said bands sold merchandise in Artist Alley and that some might hold meet-and-greets at their tents. These policies and arrangements describe the 2025 event; check official event channels for any later edition. [Vans Warped Tour FAQ]

Why Simple Plan and Bowling for Soup fit Warped Tour
Both bands connect the festival’s return to its pop-punk history. Simple Plan’s debut, No Pads, No Helmets… Just Balls, was released in 2002, according to a 2025 announcement hosted by BMO Pavilion and FPC Live. That source identifies early singles including “I’d Do Anything” and “I’m Just a Kid.” [BMO Pavilion / FPC Live]
