There is no single, definitive roster behind the label “WWE Divas”; it refers broadly to women performers from a particular WWE era. This is a representative update, not a complete census. Some names below have returned for matches or special appearances, while others retired from WWE or pursued work beyond the ring. WWE’s profiles and retrospective features document career milestones, but do not establish every performer’s current occupation.
What “WWE Divas” means—and what this update covers
“Divas” is a historical label associated with a generation of WWE women performers, not a precise category with an agreed roster boundary. WWE’s own “Where Are They Now?” archive features individuals such as Kelly Kelly and Eva Marie rather than offering a complete directory. The profiles below focus on performers whose WWE biographies provide clear career landmarks.
For contemporary updates on Kelly Kelly and Eva Marie, the archive is a starting point, but check the date and contents of each feature before treating it as a description of their lives today. An older video can document a moment without establishing what someone is doing now.
Where are the Bella Twins now?
Nikki Bella
WWE says Nikki and Brie Bella joined the main roster in 2008, became Divas Champions, and were inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame as members of the Class of 2020. Nikki returned to the ring in 2025, according to WWE’s Nikki Bella profile. Her career has also included reality television. The profile establishes those WWE milestones, not a complete list of her current projects.

Brie Bella
WWE’s Brie Bella profile describes her as a former Divas Champion and Hall of Famer, as well as a reality-TV personality and YouTube creator. It does not establish the full scope or current status of her projects, so those labels should not be mistaken for a complete present-day career update.
Which former Divas still return to WWE?
Michelle McCool
Michelle McCool moved from Diva Search competitor and manager into wrestling, winning the Divas Championship in 2008. She later teamed with Layla as LayCool. WWE says McCool retired and subsequently made multiple surprise returns, including appearances in Royal Rumble matches; the company identifies her as a 2025 Hall of Fame inductee. These milestones appear in WWE’s Michelle McCool profile.

Trish Stratus
Trish Stratus announced her retirement in 2006, but that did not mean she would never wrestle again. WWE records later appearances and matches, her 2013 Hall of Fame induction, work with Lita, and a rivalry with Becky Lynch. The latest item visible on her WWE profile includes a match against Tiffany Stratton at Evolution in 2025. In her case, retirement marked the end of a regular run, not the end of every later WWE appearance.
Who retired from WWE, and what did they do afterward?
Torrie Wilson
Torrie Wilson moved from WCW to WWE in 2001. WWE says injuries ended her regular in-ring run in 2008, after which she developed an interest in helping others get in shape through fitness ventures including Torrie Wilson Fit. She entered the WWE Hall of Fame in 2019. These details come from WWE’s Torrie Wilson profile; it does not confirm whether Torrie Wilson Fit remains active today.

Layla
Layla won the 2006 Diva Search, formed LayCool with Michelle McCool, and won the Divas Championship in 2012. WWE says she retired from the company in July 2015. Her WWE biography also contains a dated note that she married former WWE Superstar Ricky Ortiz; that detail is not a broader update on her present life.

For this generation, “where are they now?” can mean very different things: an active or renewed in-ring career, occasional WWE returns, retirement from WWE, or work in media and fitness. A Hall of Fame induction is a career recognition, not evidence that someone has stopped working. Likewise, a profile’s biographical description may capture a career chapter without confirming current employment or business status.

Reality television offers another dated snapshot of the era. In an October 5, 2016 announcement, WWE Corporate said season six of Total Divas would feature Brie Bella, Nikki Bella, Eva Marie, Naomi, Natalya and Paige, with Lana and Maryse joining the cast; the announcement also covered the premiere of Total Bellas. That release describes the 2016 programming lineup, not a current cast or schedule: WWE Corporate’s October 5, 2016 announcement.
