Netflix did not offer an official, personalized Wrapped or Rewind for members in 2022. Its 2022: Year in Review was a curated catalog, not a recap of an individual profile. You can download a profile’s viewing history from Netflix, but no current source establishes that a third-party tool can still generate a 2022-only recap from it.
Did Netflix have an official Wrapped in 2022?
No. A contemporaneous report published December 5, 2022 said Netflix did not provide a personalized annual recap for members that year. Netflix’s “2022: Year in Review” presented shows and films to browse; it did not show an individual member’s watch time or profile history. What’s on Netflix’s 2022 report and Netflix’s Year in Review page distinguish the unofficial recap idea from Netflix’s editorial catalog.

How to download your Netflix viewing history
Netflix lets you download a CSV of activity for a selected profile. In a browser:
- Sign in to Netflix and open Account.
- Under Profiles, select the profile whose activity you want to inspect.
- Open Viewing activity.
- Select Download all to save the viewing-history CSV.
These are Netflix Help Center’s documented steps. If the account is no longer active, Netflix says you need to download a copy of account information to see viewing history.

Can you make a 2022 recap with a third-party tool now?
In 2022, unofficial options included uploading the downloaded CSV to a recap service; reporting at the time described Kapwing’s workflow as using Netflix viewing history rather than a Netflix password. Kapwing’s current page promotes an unofficial 2026 recap and asks users to import NetflixViewingHistory.csv. It does not establish that the tool can filter or recreate a 2022-only recap today. Check the service’s supported years and file requirements before using it.
Kapwing says on its own page that uploaded data is not sent to or stored on its servers. That is the vendor’s statement, not independent verification. Do not give a recap site your Netflix password when the described workflow only needs an exported history file. For background on the 2022 alternatives, see the contemporaneous report; for the current workflow and its stated data handling, see Kapwing’s page.

What a downloaded history can and cannot tell you
The CSV provides a record of profile viewing activity that you can inspect yourself or provide to a compatible recap tool. It is not, by itself, an official Netflix annual report with a guaranteed set of stats or visualizations. The output depends on what a third-party service supports and how it processes the exported data.
Netflix’s public Top 10 charts are also not a substitute: they describe title-level viewing metrics across the service, not your personal account history. Netflix explains the methodology for those rankings in its Top 10 viewing metrics explainer.
