The disagreement happened during Nizam’s post-elimination interview on Bate-Papo BBB, not in a separate feud between Thais Fersoza and his sister. Hannah objected when Thais joked about Nizam’s tic before he joined the interview. Thais explained that the presenters had been joking about events in the house and apologized if the remark had offended him.
When the exchange happened
Nizam was the fourth contestant eliminated from BBB 24 on January 21, 2024. After leaving the house, he appeared on Bate-Papo BBB, hosted by Thais Fersoza and Ed Gama. The interview revisited his behavior in the house, including sexist remarks he had made. UOL Splash reported the exchange, and CNN Brasil also covered the interview.
Before Nizam joined the conversation, Thais referred to his nervousness and tic. Hannah, appearing by video to speak with her brother, objected to the joke. She said Nizam did not need to apologize simply because he had recognized his mistakes, then challenged Thais over making light of his tic.
What Hannah objected to
Hannah’s point was not that Nizam’s conduct in the house should go unaddressed. She argued that criticizing his mistakes did not make Thais better than him, and that everyone has to examine and work on their own behavior. UOL Splash reported Hannah saying, “Você não precisa pedir desculpas porque o mais importante você já fez, que é reconhecer” (“You don’t need to apologize because the most important thing is that you recognized it”). She also said, “A gente tem que se desconstruir todos os dias, todo mundo” (“We all have to keep reflecting and changing every day”).

Coverage preserved Hannah’s challenge as “Onde isso faz ela melhor do que você?”—“How does that make her better than you?” Her criticism was specifically about joking about the tic. It took place in an interview that was also addressing Nizam’s sexist remarks, but the exchange does not establish that the joke and those remarks were equivalent harms.
How Thais responded
Thais said the presenters had been joking about things that happened in the house before Nizam entered the interview. She acknowledged Hannah’s desire to defend her brother and apologized if the joke had offended him. UOL Splash reported her words as: “Se te ofendeu, desculpa, era uma brincadeira” (“If it offended you, I’m sorry; it was a joke”). Nizam was emotional during the exchange.

The reports describe Hannah’s interpretation of the remark and Thais’s explanation of her intent; they do not establish that Thais meant to humiliate Nizam. The distinction matters: Hannah objected to the joke’s subject, while Thais characterized it as part of the presenters’ joking lead-in and offered an apology for its effect.
