Tyler, The Creator’s September 4, 2025 concert at Perth’s RAC Arena paired vivid staging and high-energy performance with the humour and crowd interaction that Kellie Balaam praised in her PerthNow review. She gave the show four out of five stars. Her account names highlights from CHROMAKOPIA and Tyler’s wider catalogue, but it is not a complete set list.
What happened at Tyler’s Perth concert?
Balaam’s review covers the Thursday, September 4 performance and was published the following day. She writes that Tyler appeared on a raised stage built from green shipping containers just before 9:30 p.m., with lights and pyrotechnics shaping the spectacle. Frontier Touring announced two Perth dates at RAC Arena, September 4 and 5, as the final stops of the Australia and New Zealand leg of the tour.
The promoter’s announcement named Lil Yachty and Paris Texas as special guests; Balaam also identifies both as support for the Perth show. Frontier Touring’s announcement described the leg as a 12-date run across Australia and New Zealand.
How did the show sound and feel?
Big visuals, restless energy
The review’s picture of the concert is deliberately theatrical: shipping-container staging, lighting and bursts of pyrotechnics framed Tyler’s singing, rapping and dancing. Balaam describes an energetic performance rather than a subdued one, even after an injury interrupted the show.

An injury, as reported from the stage
Balaam reports that Tyler said he had a “popped shoulder” early in the show and told the crowd he would “be more chill.” That is the reviewer’s account of what he said; it is not an independently verified medical diagnosis. Her review says he continued to dance and perform energetically.
Humour and connection with the crowd
Balaam says Tyler praised Perth as his favourite Australian city and joked about Golden Gaytime ice creams. She quotes him telling the audience, “I’m happy to be back in my favourite part of Australia tonight.” The review treats that kind of humour and direct address as part of the evening’s appeal.

Which songs did Tyler play in Perth?
Balaam names “Sugar On My Tongue,” “St. Chroma,” “Sticky,” “Earfquake,” “Noid,” “Judge Judy,” “Are We Still Friends?,” “New Magic Wand,” “Who Dat Boy” and “Like Him.” These are selected songs mentioned in the review, not a full set list.
The named songs range across CHROMAKOPIA and Tyler’s broader catalogue. Sony Music Canada’s release announcement identifies CHROMAKOPIA as a Tyler, The Creator album released via Columbia Records and lists “St. Chroma,” “Noid,” “Judge Judy,” “Sticky” and “Like Him” among its tracks. The PerthNow review also says the Australian shows included material from the newer DON’T TAP THE GLASS. Sony Music Canada’s album announcement provides the album context and track list.

Balaam awarded the September 4 show four out of five stars. Her review’s strongest points are the visual production, Tyler’s energy and the irreverent exchanges with the audience. The song references also suggest a performance that balanced recent album material with familiar tracks from across his catalogue, rather than an album-only presentation.
