Tristan Rogers’s final television appearance was as Colin Atkinson on The Young and the Restless. The episode was announced for August 26, 2025, after Rogers died on August 15. His surprise return as Robert Scorpio on General Hospital the previous month was his final appearance on that series, but not his final television appearance.
Which soap featured Tristan Rogers’s final television appearance?
Rogers appeared as Colin Atkinson on The Young and the Restless in the episode announced for August 26, 2025. The show’s announcement, reproduced by TV Insider, called it his “final television appearance”; The Independent also reported the date and role. The episode aired after his death.
Rogers originated Colin in 2010 and played him on and off through 2019, according to TV Insider. His last appearance therefore brought him back to a character he had portrayed across several years.
Was his last appearance on General Hospital?
No. Rogers’s July 2025 return as Robert Scorpio was his final appearance on General Hospital, not his final TV appearance overall. The surprise return was tied to the resolution of the story involving his on-screen daughter Sasha Gilmore, played by Sofia Mattsson. TV Insider’s interview with Mattsson covers the return and its story context.
