A video described in an April 30, 2024, entertainment report shows Travis Kelce approaching Taylor Swift from behind and kissing her upper arm or shoulder at a Las Vegas charity gala two days earlier. The report says Swift smiled and turned to acknowledge him. The footage surfaced online on April 29; the event took place April 27.
What the reported video shows
People’s April 30, 2024, report describes Kelce walking up behind Swift while she was talking with another attendee, then kissing her upper arm or shoulder. According to the report, Swift smiled and turned toward him.
This is a description attributed to the outlet, not an independently verified viewing of the clip. The moment supports a straightforward account of a brief affectionate public gesture; it does not establish private feelings or broader conclusions about their relationship.
Where and when the moment happened
The report places the interaction at Patrick Mahomes’ 15 and the Mahomies Foundation golf classic charity gala in Las Vegas on April 27, 2024. It says the video surfaced on Monday, April 29. People published its report on April 30, so the event, the clip’s reported appearance, and the article’s publication were separate dates.
Other reported gala context
A May 9, 2024, People report syndicated by Yahoo covered the couple’s appearance at the same gala. It transcribed Kelce saying, “I think, um, I was just talking to my significant other,” before mentioning an additional auction item. That remark is separate event context; it is not part of what the shoulder-kiss clip establishes.
