It began February 13, 2026, and was planned to last about two weeks. The featured items were activity sticker books—not transforming robot toys—and availability was limited at participating restaurants in Japan.
What was in the Happy Meal promotion?
McDonald’s Japan’s February 6, 2026 announcement described a “Norinori Times!!” activity sticker book featuring either Tokusou Gattai Robo Jobraver or Shinkansen Henkei Robo Shinkalion. The books included puzzles, quizzes, mazes, spot-the-difference activities and stickers. McDonald’s said the activities were intended to encourage spatial thinking and expressive play; that is the company’s description, not an independent assessment of their effects.
The official announcement identifies Takara Tomy as the publisher of the Jobraver and Plarail Shinkalion toys. The tie-in put these transforming-robot series in a Happy Meal activity book; it did not provide a transforming robot toy.
Which designs were offered?
| Design | Featured stickers |
|---|---|
| A | Jobraver and Jobroid |
| B | Jobraver and Armor Vehicle |
| C | Shinkalion |
McDonald’s said customers could not choose a design. The books were limited in quantity and could sell out; if the announced items ran out, a restaurant might provide substitute toys or other items instead.

That announced window has passed; the release does not establish current availability, nor does it indicate that the promotion ran in the United States or worldwide.
Are Shinkalion and Jobraver Transformers series?
A February 8, 2026 CBR story syndicated through IMDb framed Shinkalion as a Transformers “sister series.” McDonald’s official announcement identifies Shinkalion and Jobraver as the featured franchises but does not establish a formal corporate or licensing relationship between either one and Transformers. It is more precise to describe them here as other transforming-robot series.
