Yellow: sharp protrusions
A barb, bristle, needle, or spine can be a pointed projection. The words differ in what they describe, but share that physical idea.

A bridge, neck, peg, and string are all parts or components of stringed instruments.
Rank #2
Blue: litigation verbs
In legal contexts, a party can charge or sue; lawyers can move for relief and serve legal papers. The category depends on courtroom usage, not every everyday meaning of these words.
Purple: words in “Star Light, Star Bright”
The familiar rhyme includes “may,” “might,” “tonight,” and “wish”—the words that complete this group.
