No official release dates, casts, or production details for those numbered films are established in the sources reviewed as of October 8, 2026. That does not prove no project is in development; it means the headline claim is unsupported by the official evidence checked.
Are Transformers 8 and 9 confirmed?
The checked official sources do not confirm Transformers 8 or Transformers 9. Paramount’s official film listings reviewed do not establish either title or a release date, and Hasbro’s franchise announcement does not announce numbered sequels. The available evidence therefore does not support saying the two films are confirmed or scheduled to follow Rise of the Beasts.
This is a limited check of the official materials available as of October 8, 2026, not proof that no Transformers film is being developed or that no later announcement will appear. Film plans can change, and an unlisted project is not the same thing as a project definitively ruled out.
What official Transformers film information is documented?
Paramount’s official materials document Transformers One, a separate animated film released in 2024. Paramount Global Content describes it as the origin story of Optimus Prime and Megatron and lists its premiere as September 20, 2024: Paramount Global Content: Transformers One.

When is Transformers 8 coming out?
No release date for Transformers 8 was established in the official sources checked. The same is true of Transformers 9. Treat dates presented without an official Paramount or Hasbro announcement as unverified rather than confirmed.
Why online claims can look official
A third-party YouTube video titled “Transformers 8 (2025) Official Paramount Pictures Movie” was published by Rae Cinema, not Paramount. Its own description characterizes key details as rumored. The word “Official” in a video title does not make the publisher an official studio source, and the video is not confirmation of a film, cast, or release date.

Do Transformers toys confirm the movies?
No. Hasbro’s February 6, 2024 announcement marking the franchise’s 40th anniversary discusses Transformers products and entertainment, supporting the broader merchandise context—not confirmation of Transformers 8 or Transformers 9. Transformers action figures and toys exist as franchise merchandise, but that alone does not show that a product is tied to either unconfirmed film: Hasbro’s 40th-anniversary announcement.
