These memorable images from the 2024 Grammys afterparties capture a night of post-show appearances, reunions and distinctive looks in Los Angeles. “Best” is a subjective editorial selection, not an official ranking—and the photos span multiple parties, not just the Recording Academy’s official celebration.

The photos were taken after the 66th Annual GRAMMY Awards on February 4, 2024. Stars had more than one gathering to choose from, so an appearance in an afterparty gallery does not, by itself, establish which event someone attended.
Yahoo Entertainment’s gallery refers to Universal Music Group’s GRAMMY afterparty. Life & Style’s gallery features Jessica and Ashlee Simpson together and notes that stars had different events to choose from. Hollywood Life’s gallery names Keke Palmer, Alabama Barker and Paris Jackson among its subjects. Harper’s Bazaar also published an afterparties photo gallery. These are examples of coverage, not a complete attendance list or proof that those guests attended the Academy’s party.
The official Recording Academy celebration
The Recording Academy held its official 2024 GRAMMY Celebration immediately after the awards at the Los Angeles Convention Center, next to Crypto.com Arena. The private, ticketed event continued past midnight. Three-time GRAMMY winner NE-YO headlined; Ben Backson DJed, and nominees Kurt Elling and Charlie Hunter performed in the GRAMMY Celebration Jazz Lounge. That celebration was one stop on a wider afterparty circuit. The official event’s details should not be used to identify the venue or program for a different gallery photo unless its caption does so. Likewise, a publication’s inclusion of a celebrity establishes that the gallery featured them, not which party they attended.
How to read this curated photo selection
There is no objective measure that makes one afterparty image the “best.” A useful selection favors photos that capture a memorable pairing or interaction, a distinctive look, or a clear sense of the occasion—and gives enough caption information to identify the party when that is established. Where the available gallery information does not identify a specific event for an image, it is more accurate to leave the party unspecified than to guess.
