She also described feeling hurt by Olivia Kaiser. An August 2024 follow-up later reported that Nurys and Olivia were talking and working toward a friendship. These are dated accounts of Nurys’s views, not a check of where the relationships stand today.
What Nurys said about Jay
In the interview published February 23, 2024, Nurys said she and Jay were not friends. She felt he had used her to hurt her, and said his apology shortly before reunion filming came too late for her to see it as genuine. Those are Nurys’s interpretations of his actions, rather than independently established facts.

“With Jay, there’s no friendship at all,” she said. Yahoo’s republication of the Entertainment Weekly interview preserves her comments.
Why forgiveness did not mean friendship with Moriah
Nurys said she had forgiven Moriah because Moriah kept reaching out and showing that she cared. But watching the season made Nurys question whether she could have Moriah in her life again as a friend. She drew a clear line between letting go of resentment and restoring the friendship: “I don’t hate her at all. But I absolutely would never be her friend again.”

Nurys and Horacio after filming
Nurys said the connection she and Horacio developed on the show became a real relationship after filming. In February 2024, she described them as doing well—“We are amazing”—and said they were discussing how to handle living in different cities. That interview records what she said at the time; it does not establish their current relationship status.

In February, Nurys described being hurt after watching the season and seeing what had happened behind the scenes. A later interview published August 22, 2024, offered a more hopeful update: Yahoo’s republication of In Touch Weekly’s interview reported that Nurys and Olivia talked quite a lot and were slowly working toward friendship.

Nurys did not call them best friends. “We are not … I wouldn’t say best friends or anything like that, but we are definitely, like, working towards a friendship,” she said. This later account describes progress toward friendship, not a claim that the two had fully reconciled.
