The best-supported song-by-song comparison is the Official Charts Company’s UK ranking, which reports chart sales and combined streams—not cash earned. In that list, “Halo” ranks first, followed by “Crazy In Love,” “If I Were A Boy,” “Single Ladies (Put A Ring On It),” and “Irreplaceable.”
What this ranking measures—and what it doesn’t
The Official Charts Company’s figures compare Beyoncé songs by UK chart sales and combined UK streams. They do not disclose gross revenue, worldwide totals, or how much Beyoncé personally earned. The ranking page’s publication date is not available, so these figures should not be read as current totals.

Streaming counts cannot be converted into a dependable cash total by multiplying them by a fixed price per play. Spotify for Artists explains that royalties are based on each artist’s or songwriter’s share of total streams, rather than a fixed per-stream rate. Payments go to recording and publishing rightsholders, then pass through labels, distributors, publishers, and other organizations according to their agreements. How to interpret the order
“Halo” leads on the ranking’s sales-and-streams measure
The Official Charts Company identifies “Halo” as Beyoncé’s biggest song in the UK in this ranking. It reached No. 4 on the UK Official Singles Chart, a peak position that measures something different from cumulative sales and streams.

Sales and streams do not produce the same ordering
“Irreplaceable” and “Single Ladies” each have 1.6 million reported UK chart sales, while “Irreplaceable” has more combined UK streams: 126 million compared with 99 million. “If I Were A Boy” is also noted by the Official Charts Company as Beyoncé’s biggest seller on digital downloads, with 817,000 downloads.

Spotify says it pays royalties based on streamshare, not a fixed rate per stream; fans do not pay for each individual song play. Its guide describes an approximate allocation of about two-thirds of Spotify music revenue to recording and publishing royalties, with roughly four-fifths of that allocation going to recording and one-fifth to publishing. Those platform-wide approximations do not establish the revenue or artist earnings for any Beyoncé song.
