Resident Evil Requiem
Capcom’s June 6 recap highlighted Resident Evil Requiem and stated that the game was scheduled to release on February 27, 2026. That date reflects Capcom’s announcement at the time of the recap. PlayStation’s Capcom recap covered the announcement.
Street Fighter 6 Year 3 and Onimusha: Way of the Sword
The same Capcom recap covered Street Fighter 6 Year 3 and an update on Onimusha: Way of the Sword. It is a useful snapshot of Capcom’s presentation, rather than a full event rundown.
Other games in live coverage
PC Gamer’s live blog included entries for Mortal Shell II, Chronicles: Medieval, Street Fighter 6 Year 3 and Escape Academy 2. Its list, like the Capcom recap, represents selected coverage rather than a definitive inventory of the showcase.
Death Stranding 2: On the Beach was already dated
Death Stranding 2: On the Beach was part of the surrounding conversation, but its release date had been announced before Summer Game Fest. On March 9, 2025, PlayStation set the date for June 26, 2025. The same announcement described a Collector’s Edition with a digital download of the full game, a collector’s box, a 15-inch Magellan Man statue, a Dollman figurine, art cards, a letter from Hideo Kojima and in-game items. PlayStation said it would be available to preorder through PlayStation and select retailers; that announcement does not establish Amazon availability. PlayStation’s March announcement has the release and edition details.
