Sublime announced its inaugural Me Gusta Music Festival as a three-city series in 2026, starting in Fort Worth on May 9. That Fort Worth date has passed, and a later report said the festival was renamed Sublime Fest after Cypress Hill withdrew. The available sources do not confirm whether the Portland and Salt Lake City events ultimately took place.
What Sublime announced
The January 17, 2026 launch announcement described the Fort Worth show as the first event in a national series created by Regime Music Group and Brew Ha Ha Productions. The name “Me Gusta” refers to the lyric “Me gusta mi reggae, me gusta punk rock” from Sublime’s “Caress Me Down.” Organizers framed the festival around reggae, punk, hip-hop and Sublime’s cultural legacy, while promoting it alongside the 30th anniversary of the band’s self-titled 1996 album.

Jakob Nowell, identified in the announcement coverage as Sublime’s frontman, said, “It’s always been our dream to put on a Festival for our friends and family,” Cameron Collins, an event co-producer from Brew Ha Ha Productions, called Fort Worth “the perfect place to kick off Sublime Me Gusta.”
Announced dates, venues and lineups
The February expansion announcement added Portland and Salt Lake City, with a distinct bill for each stop. These are the announced plans and lineups, not confirmation that every date went ahead.

Fort Worth date has passed
Panther Island Pavilion’s event page marks the May 9 Fort Worth date as passed. The page listed noon doors, an all-ages event and free entry for children five and under. Those details apply to that event listing; they are not current entry information for a future show.
Why the name changed
Digital Music News reported on April 6, 2026, that the festival had been rebranded from Me Gusta Fest to Sublime Fest after Cypress Hill withdrew. The report said the dates and venues remained as announced at that time. It also said no official reason for Cypress Hill’s withdrawal had been given. Speculation about the cause is not established fact.

What is known about tickets and attendance
The expansion announcement said general-admission tickets started at $89.99 when they went on sale. That was an announcement-era starting price, not a verified current offer; all three announced 2026 dates are now past. The available sources do not provide confirmed attendance or ticket-sales figures.
