Rockstar Games has an official Discord server, but it did not just join the platform: Discord lists the server as created on September 3, 2019. It is a place to connect with other players and follow Rockstar news and community updates—not evidence of a new GTA VI announcement or an imminent reveal.
Is Rockstar’s GTA VI Discord new?
No. Discord’s official directory identifies the Rockstar Games server as created on September 3, 2019, and describes it as “The official home of Rockstar Games on Discord!” Its listing says the community is for connecting with players and following Rockstar news and community updates, and lists English as its supported language. View Rockstar Games’ official Discord directory listing.
A February 2025 community post reproduced Rockstar’s launch announcement, but that is a historical record, not evidence that the server launched in 2026. Nor does the server’s existence establish that Rockstar will share exclusive GTA VI news there.

What the Discord server does—and does not—signal
The directory presents the server as a community and news-update channel. Joining may be useful if you want to follow Rockstar’s community presence, but the available official information does not promise exclusive GTA VI announcements there. A server listing or growing fan interest should not be treated as confirmation of a trailer, reveal, or marketing event.
For confirmed game details, use Rockstar’s GTA VI page; for preorder terms and the physical-box format, refer to the dated Take-Two announcement. The Discord directory’s live member and online counts can change, so they are not durable measures of the game’s audience.
