How did Rob Gronkowski and Camille Kostek meet?
Kostek has said they met at a Goodwill charity event shortly before Thanksgiving in November 2013. Volunteers were filling turkey baskets for families. Gronkowski wrote his phone number on the back of his name sticker, marked it “Shhh,” and asked former Patriots tight end Jermaine Wiggins to pass it to her. Kostek called him several days later. Recalling the event in a SiriusXM interview, she said, “we were filling turkey baskets for families who are less fortunate.” Fox News reported her account.
When did they go public?
They became publicly known as a couple in 2015. Us Weekly dates their public debut to September, when Kostek posted about a “Friday night date night.” In a 2022 retrospective, she recalled that she had called Gronkowski after their 2013 meeting despite rules for Patriots cheerleaders. They attended the Kids’ Choice Awards together in 2016, adding to their public visibility. Us Weekly’s timeline traces these early milestones.
What happened during their 2017 split?
Retrospective coverage describes a brief separation in 2017 followed by a reconciliation. E! reported that joint sightings stopped early that year and that they appeared together again at a wedding in May. The public accounts do not establish when the split began or ended, or why it happened. E! covered their relationship, and NDTV’s September 2026 retrospective also refers to the split and reunion.

How did their relationship continue through Gronkowski’s football career?
After reuniting, they continued appearing together publicly as Gronkowski’s career shifted between football and retirement. In 2018, Kostek posted support while he practiced; she also spoke about the discomfort of media scrutiny and said people close to them knew the truth. When Gronkowski announced his first retirement in March 2019, Kostek publicly supported him. He returned to the NFL in 2020.
They were together during his Tampa Bay period and attended Super Bowl LV in February 2021, when his team won. In March that year, they introduced their French bulldog, Ralphie. Gronkowski announced another retirement in 2022, two months after Kostek spoke about the possibility of marriage. Their relationship remained visible at public and Super Bowl-related events in 2023 and 2024. In February 2024, Gronkowski called Kostek the “secret sauce” of their relationship; she joked that Ralphie was “the glue.” Us Weekly’s timeline documents these public milestones.

What have they said about marriage and timing?
In April 2022, Kostek told Us Weekly, “If he were to get down on one knee, I’d be excited.” She also called Gronkowski her best friend and said, “I would spend the rest of my life with him.” Those remarks expressed her feelings at the time; they did not announce an engagement.
In May 2026, Kostek spoke on PEOPLE’s WAG World about once expecting to be married with children by her current age, and about not measuring her life against other people’s timelines, according to NDTV. The comments addressed her perspective on timing, not a specific wedding plan.

Are Rob Gronkowski and Camille Kostek engaged?
As of the latest reports reviewed, published September 24 and 26, 2026, no engagement had been publicly announced. Us Weekly reported that Gronkowski declined to be put on the spot about ring shopping during a television appearance on September 24, saying, “Oh, you can’t put me on the spot.” The report also quoted Kostek saying, “when the time is right, it’ll be.” NDTV’s September 26 update likewise said neither had announced an engagement. These reports describe their public status on those dates; they do not establish private plans or anything that may have changed since.
