Koby Falks, an Australian adult-content creator known to family and friends as Anthony Cox, was reported to have died in late May 2025. His death was announced on Instagram on June 1. Out and Us Weekly reported he was 42, while E! Online reported he was 39; the available reports do not resolve the discrepancy. Out also reported that Falks posted a message about self-acceptance on May 27, days before the announcement. No cause of death was publicly reported in the coverage cited here.
What was reported about Koby Falks’s death
The June 1 Instagram announcement said Falks had “passed away earlier this week.” That wording places his death in late May but does not give an exact date. Out reported that the announcement identified him as Anthony Cox, the name by which he was known to family and friends, and included a Lifeline support message. Us Weekly attributed the announcement to his partner, Sam Brownell.

Why reports give different ages
Out and Us Weekly reported Falks was 42. E! Online reported he was 39. The accounts cited here do not explain the difference, so his age cannot be stated as settled fact. The headline figure of 42 appears in two of those reports, but another outlet gives a different age.
His May 27 message about self-acceptance
Out reported that Falks shared a message about self-acceptance on Instagram on May 27, before the June 1 death announcement. The outlet reproduced this line from the post: “Took me years to drop the act. Turns out, the scariest thing wasn’t being rejected—it was being seen.”
#1 Best Overall
The timing alone does not establish a connection between the post and his death. The coverage cited here did not report a cause of death, and the message should not be treated as an explanation.

Out reported that Brownell shared a tribute in an Instagram Story, writing, “I will love you always.” The publication also quoted Matthew Leigh, founder of Mista PR, who described Falks as “a light, a creative force, and a genuinely beautiful soul.” These are statements reproduced and attributed by Out.
