Marquay Collins, the TikTok creator known as Marquay the Goat, died at 24 on November 26, 2025. Initial reports said his cause of death was undetermined. In April 2026, TMZ and PEOPLE reported that an autopsy found an enlarged heart and ruled his death natural. The family announced his passing, but the later cause and manner were reported by those outlets—not confirmed in a public autopsy document reviewed here.
What was Marquay Collins’ reported cause of death?
TMZ reported on April 3, 2026, citing sources with direct knowledge of the autopsy, that Collins’ cause of death was an enlarged heart and the manner of death was natural. PEOPLE reported the same finding that day. These are outlet-reported autopsy results; the reports cited here do not include a public autopsy report or death certificate.
Why did early reports say the cause was undetermined?
When the Columbus Ledger-Enquirer reported Collins’ death in November 2025, the cause was listed as undetermined and the case was under investigation. The later April 2026 reports provided a reported autopsy finding, superseding that initial status.
Did a car accident cause his death?
The Ledger-Enquirer reported that Collins was involved in a car accident in Atlanta on November 7, 2025, and that he reportedly experienced symptoms after returning home. Those details appeared while the cause remained undetermined. The later reporting attributed his death to an enlarged heart; the cited coverage does not establish that the accident caused his death.
