Heidi Klum backed singer Richard Goodall during the America’s Got Talent Season 19 finale in September 2024, saying she wanted him to win. He did: the show announced Goodall as the Season 19 champion on September 24, 2024. This is a look back at that season, not a prediction for the current one.
Who did Heidi Klum pick to win AGT?
Klum’s favorite was Richard Goodall, a singer competing in the Season 19 finale. In a September 2024 report by USA Today, syndicated by Yahoo, she told him: “Richard, I have been faithfully your biggest fan since the very, very first day we met, all the way through this competition.” She added, “I want you to win this so bad, Richard!”
Those remarks were reported as part of the finale coverage. They are not presented here as a separately verified episode transcript.
Did Richard Goodall win America’s Got Talent?
Yes. Goodall won Season 19, with the result announced on September 24, 2024, according to Gold Derby. The finale’s reported prize was $1 million; that description does not establish that the award was paid as a single cash check.

Who were the AGT Season 19 finalists?
The finale featured ten acts. Gold Derby’s reported Top 5 were:
- Richard Goodall
- Sky Elements
- Learnmore Jonasi
- Solange Kardinaly
- Roni Sagi & Rhythm
The available finale reporting establishes the ten-act field and those five names, but not a comparable account of each finalist’s performances or a complete placement order for all ten. It also does not give audience-vote totals or odds, so neither should be inferred.

The seasonless headline refers to the Season 19 finale in 2024. A 2026 podcast listing describes America’s Got Talent as entering its 21st season, so Klum’s support for Goodall should not be read as a current-season pick.
