Several couples received at least one 10 from the judges, while only a few earned them across their routines. Alix Earle and Val Chmerkovskiy finished first with 43/45, and Jennifer Affleck and Jan Ravnik were eliminated.

How the Dance Monster-thon changed the scores
All the couples danced simultaneously through hustle and lindy hop rounds. Judges tapped couples out as the marathon continued, and bonus points were awarded according to how long each pair stayed in. TVLine described a four-minute continuous round with a maximum award of five points.
The bonus round shaped the final order: Leavitt and Ballas moved from a 37/40 dance score to 42/45 by winning five points. Earle and Chmerkovskiy’s 39/40 became 43/45 after four points, putting them one point ahead. These are separate measures: a couple’s featured-dance score was out of 40, and the final leaderboard included marathon points out of 45.

Who went home, and what happened to Elaine Hendrix?
Jennifer Affleck and Jan Ravnik were eliminated. Elaine Hendrix did not perform live after sustaining a rib injury during rehearsal; the judges scored her and Alan Bersten using rehearsal footage. Episode coverage said Hendrix had been cleared to dance the following week if she remained in the competition. Her absence was not the elimination result.
