Yes: Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba – Infinity Castle is a three-film adaptation of the manga’s final arc. The trilogy was confirmed in June 2024 alongside an announcement teaser; the later main trailer arrived on June 28, 2025. The first film’s Crunchyroll streaming premiere began July 28, 2026. As of Crunchyroll’s July 4, 2026 report, the second film was in production, with no release date announced.
Did the first trailer confirm the trilogy?
The trilogy was officially confirmed in 2024, but the June 2024 video was an announcement teaser—not the later main trailer. Aniplex’s July 1, 2024 notice said production of Infinity Castle as a trilogy had been decided and announced a teaser and teaser visual. Crunchyroll had reported the reveal on June 30, following the Hashira Training Arc finale in Japan, and described the films as adapting the manga’s final arc.

The official English franchise site published what it called the official trailer on June 28, 2025, presenting a first look at the upcoming film and a key visual featuring Akaza. Calling it the main trailer helps distinguish that release from the earlier announcement teaser.
What is the trilogy adapting?
The three films adapt the final arc of Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba. The source material is the manga, not a separate film tie-in. VIZ’s catalogue lists the manga volumes, including the final volume, along with related physical books: Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba volumes.
