There is no officially confirmed cast or release date for Temptation Island Season 9. The number may refer to a franchise-wide season count; Netflix uses a separate numbering system for its revival, listing a 2026 installment as Season 2 and announcing a Season 3 renewal in May 2026. Those labels have not been officially connected.
Is Temptation Island Season 9 confirmed?
Official Netflix announcements do not identify an upcoming installment as “Season 9.” Netflix’s May 7, 2026 announcement renewed its version of the show for Season 3 and said casting was open. The announcement named neither a premiere date nor a final cast. Netflix Tudum’s renewal announcement describes the show as renewed, but does not establish that its Season 3 is the franchise’s ninth season.

The “Season 9” label may reflect a cumulative count across different versions of the franchise. Netflix’s own materials number its revival separately, so it would be misleading to treat Season 9 as an official Netflix season designation without an announcement specifying that numbering.
What is the release date?
No release date has been announced for Season 9. Netflix’s Media Center lists April 10, 2026 at 7:00 AM GMT for its Netflix-era Season 2; that date is not a Season 9 premiere date. The subsequent Season 3 renewal announcement did not provide a release date. Netflix Media Center’s title listing identifies the 2026 release as Season 2.

Who is in the Season 9 cast?
No Season 9 cast has been officially announced. Netflix said casting was open for its Season 3 on May 7, 2026, which is not a finalized cast list and does not establish a Season 9 cast. Until an official announcement clarifies the season numbering and names the participants, cast lists attributed to Season 9 should be treated as unconfirmed.
What to expect from Netflix’s version
Netflix describes its revival as a relationship experiment involving four couples who live apart on an island and date singles of the opposite sex. At the end, participants decide whether to reunite, leave separately, or leave with someone new. Mark L. Walberg is the host identified in Netflix’s coverage and title information. Netflix Tudum’s revival explainer introduces the format and host; Netflix’s title page also lists Walberg.

Netflix’s revival and 2026 Season 2 listing are Netflix properties, but availability can vary by country and change over time. Peacock reported on April 9, 2025 that five earlier seasons were available there at that time. That is a dated catalog snapshot, not confirmation of current availability; check the services in your region before planning a watch-through. Peacock’s April 2025 update is the source for that historical availability report.
