Netflix’s fifth and final season is complete, and all episodes, including the finale, are streaming on Netflix.
Who does Linda Hamilton play in Stranger Things 5?
Hamilton plays Dr. Kay. Netflix identifies her as a new face in the final season, but its official cast guide does not provide a fuller biography or explain her motives. The character’s mystery is part of the setup; it is not a basis for assuming more about her role.
Netflix’s season cast guide confirms Hamilton’s casting and lists the new and returning characters.
What is the final season about?
Season 5 begins in fall 1987, after the Rifts opened at the end of Season 4. Hawkins is scarred and under lockdown, and the group is trying to find and kill Vecna, whose whereabouts are unknown. The government has intensified its search for Eleven, forcing her back into hiding.
