Emily Balch said Brennan had also discussed wanting her best friend, while acknowledging that she kissed another man after Brennan had moved out. The reports do not independently establish that Brennan had sex with anyone else.
What did Clare tell Emily about Brennan?
At the reunion, Clare confronted Brennan with the allegation that he wanted to have sex with her best friend. Us Weekly reported Clare saying, “You wanted to f—k my best friend.” Clare also accused him of being with other people. Brennan responded, “I never f—ked anyone [and] I never said that I wanted to f—k anyone.” His statements were denials, not independent evidence resolving the dispute. Emily separately said Brennan had talked about wanting her best friend. In a later interview, she said she did not know whether the reported statement was true; she said her friend Lillie told her Brennan had discussed wanting to have sex with her. That is Emily’s account of what she heard, not confirmation that Brennan acted on the alleged interest. Westword’s interview with Emily gives her account.
Did Brennan cheat on Emily?
The reports reviewed here do not establish that Brennan had sex with another person. Clare accused him of being with others, and Emily described claims about his interest in her friend, but Brennan denied the reunion accusations. Allegations about desire or a possible plan should not be treated as proof of a sexual encounter.

Westword’s recap of “Denver Reunion: Part Two,” which it reported aired April 17, 2024, describes both Emily and Brennan making cheating accusations. Emily said she had seen texts concerning Brennan’s interest in her then-best friend and said he had contacted Clare’s friend. Brennan, in turn, accused Emily of kissing another man at a bar. Emily acknowledged the kiss. Westword’s reunion recap recounts that exchange.
What did Emily say about kissing another man?
Emily said the Australian man kissed her after Brennan had moved out. She said she did not go home with him and later told Brennan about the kiss. She described herself and Brennan as being on a “friend reset” at the time. In the Westword interview, Emily said, “If I had to take accountability about something this season, this would be it.” Her account establishes what she acknowledged; it does not independently verify every detail of the couple’s relationship status or the disputed claims about Brennan.

Was there really a double date?
Clare had said she heard Brennan and Cameron were planning a double date. Us Weekly reported that Cameron and Brennan later described it as a possible plan for after both divorces were finalized. That account describes a proposed future outing, not evidence that a date took place or that either man cheated during his marriage.
