To find a movie you bought, open Prime Video and go to My Stuff > Purchases & Rentals on the website. The route differs slightly on phones and TVs, so use the instructions for your device below.
Find purchases on the device you’re using
Prime Video website
- Sign in to the Amazon account used to buy the movie.
- Open Prime Video and select My Stuff.
- Choose Purchases & Rentals. In the updated web interface, the bookmark icon near the upper-right corner is also a shortcut to watchlists, purchases, and rentals, according to Amazon Staff guidance.
Android phone, Android tablet, or Fire Tablet
Tap the profile icon in the upper-right corner, then open the Purchases list. Amazon Staff describes this screen as containing separate Watchlist and Purchases lists; app labels and placement can change. If the route looks different, use the website steps instead. Amazon Staff guidance

Fire TV or another connected TV
Open the left navigation menu and select My Stuff. Amazon’s Fire TV home-screen guide says this area includes Purchases and Rentals. On Fire TV, purchased movies in a bundle or TV box set may also appear under Your Videos, according to Amazon’s help page.
Know which library you’re looking at
A movie you purchased is different from a title included with Prime membership or one you rented. Prime-included titles are covered by membership and the catalog changes over time; purchases and rentals have separate fees. Amazon describes purchased titles as yours to keep, while rentals are available for a limited time. Amazon’s Prime Video help

For that reason, check Purchases & Rentals rather than relying on the homepage, a search result, or the Included with Prime catalog to confirm an earlier purchase. Amazon Staff says a title bought on Prime Video is added to My Stuff. Amazon Staff guidance
If a purchased movie is missing
- Check the account and profile. Make sure Prime Video is signed in to the Amazon account used for the purchase, and check the profile where you expect to see it. Amazon’s guidance links purchases to the account’s video library, but does not specify all profile-sharing behavior.
- Check the purchase list, not just the homepage. On the website, use My Stuff > Purchases & Rentals; on the app or TV, use the corresponding route above.
- Allow for availability changes. Amazon says purchased titles generally remain available to stream or download, but a title may become unavailable for licensing or other limited reasons. Amazon Staff guidance
- Verify whether a charge went through. Look under Your Payments > Transactions. Transaction history helps verify a payment; it is separate from the Prime Video library. Amazon’s transaction help
Cancel an accidental purchase
Amazon says an accidental Prime Video purchase can be cancelled within 14 days only if you have not attempted to watch or download it. Use Your Transactions to request cancellation. After cancellation is completed, the title is removed from Purchases & Rentals. Amazon Customer Service
