For general MSNBC support, NBC’s Help Center directs readers to the MSNBC Contact Portal. For a newsroom tip, NBC News lists [email protected], but it is a general NBC News tip inbox—not a verified dedicated MSNBC email. The right route depends on whether you need support, want to submit a tip, or are contacting NBC News about its website.
Which contact route should you use?
| Purpose | Official route | Scope and response expectations |
|---|---|---|
| MSNBC support | MSNBC Contact Portal, linked from NBC’s Help Center | For MSNBC support. The Help Center says NBC Digital Support does not support NBC News or NBC Sports; use the MSNBC route instead. The Help Center page should be checked for the current portal link. |
| News tip | [email protected] | NBC News’s general newsroom tip inbox, not an address identified as exclusive to MSNBC. NBC News says it reviews messages but may not respond to all of them. |
| NBCNews.com error or comment | [email protected] | For errors or comments about NBCNews.com; the published guidance does not establish this as an MSNBC audience-support address. |
| Press inquiry | [email protected] or 212-413-6142 | For press inquiries only, according to NBC News Group guidance published September 30, 2025—not general reader feedback. |
How to contact MSNBC for support
Start at NBC’s Help Center and follow its MSNBC Contact Portal link. NBC’s guidance groups NBC News, CNBC, MSNBC, and NBC Sports support routes, and specifically says NBC Digital Support does not handle NBC News or NBC Sports support. Choose the MSNBC portal rather than sending a support request to one of the newsroom addresses above.
The Help Center’s available guidance identifies the portal but does not establish its destination or form fields here. Follow the live official Help Center link to confirm the current portal and provide the information it requests.
How to email NBC News with a tip
Send a tip to [email protected]. NBC News describes this as its general newsroom inbox, not a dedicated MSNBC tip address. Its tips page asks for specific information backed by evidence or documentation. It also cautions: “We review all messages we receive but may not respond to all of them.”
