SkyMed follows nurses and pilots flying air ambulances across remote Northern Canada. If you are trying to place the faces, here is a cast-to-character guide with one familiar screen credit for each actor where the official sources provide one. These are recognition cues, not full filmographies; the ensemble changes over the seasons.
Who is in the original SkyMed crew?
Paramount describes SkyMed as “A character drama wrapped in high stakes medical adventure.” The series centers on the working crew of nurses and pilots serving remote Northern Canada. The actors and role pairings below are the principal associations identified in the show’s season 2 announcement and cast listings.
| Actor | SkyMed character | A familiar credit |
|---|---|---|
| Natasha Calis | Hayley Roberts, a nurse; later described as chief nurse Hayley | Nurses |
| Aason “Ace” Nadjiwon | Captain Austen “Bodie” | Batwoman |
| Morgan Holmstrom | Crystal Highway, a no-nonsense nurse | Siberia |
| Praneet Akilla | Jay “Chopper” Chopra, a first officer | Nancy Drew |
| Thomas Elms | Captain Nowak (also listed as Milosz Nowak in some cast listings) | The Order |
| Mercedes Morris | Lexi Martine, a first officer | Between |
| Kheon Clarke | Tristan Green, a nurse | Riverdale |
| Braeden Clarke | Jeremy Wood, Crystal’s on-again/off-again love interest in the season 2 announcement | Outlander |
| Aaron Ashmore | Wheezer (William Heaseman), the crew’s wise-cracking big brother; later identified as chief pilot | Killjoys |
The credit column offers one quick recognition cue per performer, not a ranking of fame or a complete list of past work. CBC’s cast listing also associates Rebecca Kwan with SkyMed and the credit Taken, but the season 4 cast guide does not establish her season or character placement, so she is not assigned a role here.

Season 2 additions
Paramount’s season 2 announcement introduced three series regulars: Sydney Kuhne as Stef, Ryan Ali as Reese, and Nadine Whiteman-Roden as Dr. Yana Noah. The corresponding recognition credits listed by CBC are Ginny & Georgia, The Hummingbird Project, and Faith Heist.

The season 4 guide highlights Lauren Lee Smith as Captain Riley, Shawn Ahmed as Zay Patel, Leishe Meyboom as Piper Adler, Alexander Eling as Wyatt Ellis, and Cecilia Lee as Pilot Maya Chang. These are later additions to the evolving crew. The reviewed official sources do not list a prior-credit cue for these five performers, so no recognition credit is supplied rather than guessing.
What is the current season and episode count?
Paramount Global Content lists four seasons and 35 episodes, and Paramount’s season 4 guide says the fourth season premiered on May 21, 2026. That guide says all eight season 4 episodes were streaming on Paramount+ as of June 1, 2026. These are catalog and release details, not audience or industry statistics.

Where can you watch SkyMed?
Availability depends on country and can change. Paramount’s official page lists four seasons, while a March 2023 Paramount announcement described CBC TV and CBC Gem availability in Canada and Paramount+ in several other markets at that time. That older distribution notice does not establish current access; check the listings for your local services.
