What Quinn did to Dominique Kohl
- Kohl and Frasconi attempted to arrest Quinn.
- Quinn killed Frasconi and took Kohl hostage.
- He tortured Kohl and left her badly injured. She died from blood loss, as ComingSoon reports. TV Guide’s episode synopsis describes Reacher finding her body in a cabin.
Reacher arrived too late to save Kohl. The sequence is the focus of “Dominique,” the season’s flashback-centered episode; it is distinct from the present-day smuggling investigation.
Why her death matters to Reacher
Kohl’s murder turns Quinn from a former officer Reacher investigated into a personal target. The season’s official Amazon character guide identifies Quinn as a former lieutenant colonel whom Reacher investigated for selling national secrets. In the present story Quinn is known as Julius McCabe.

The finale brings that history back into the confrontation. TVLine’s finale recap reports that Reacher says Kohl’s name to Quinn before shooting him.
