Apple’s 2024 announcement introduced Extrasensory, an eight-episode Apple Original podcast hosted by Will Sharpe. Apple describes it as an “unbelievable true story” about a family in 1950s England and a claim of reincarnation—but its announcement presents the story’s premise, not independent proof that reincarnation occurred.
What is Extrasensory about?
In Apple’s synopsis, milkman John Pollock predicts that his two deceased daughters will be reborn. His wife later gives birth to twin girls whom Apple says share similarities with their late sisters. The series follows the twins’ story and their perspectives, alongside an American scientist’s study of them over more than two decades.
Those details are Apple’s account of the podcast’s subject and narrative framing. The announcement does not independently verify the prophecy, the reported similarities, or the interpretation of events as evidence of reincarnation.
Who made the podcast?
Will Sharpe hosts Extrasensory, and Blanchard House produced it. Apple identified it as the production company’s second Apple Original podcast, following The Pirate of Prague. Sharpe said, “I found this story fascinating and hope the twists and turns will keep listeners guessing, as they did me.” That is the host’s reaction to the story, not corroboration of its underlying claims.

How many episodes are there?
Apple announced an eight-episode series. Its October 21, 2024 announcement said Apple TV+ subscribers could connect their subscription through Apple Podcasts to access all eight episodes on October 28. Nonsubscribers were to receive the first two episodes, followed by weekly releases through a finale scheduled for December 9, 2024.
Those dates and access terms describe the schedule Apple announced in 2024; they do not establish the podcast’s current availability or access conditions.

What does the announcement establish—and what does it not?
Apple’s press release establishes how the company described the series: a podcast about the Pollock family story, hosted by Sharpe and produced by Blanchard House. It is not an independent historical investigation or a scientific study of reincarnation. Readers should therefore distinguish the podcast’s subject and Apple’s promotional description from evidence that the events happened as described or that reincarnation took place.
