How the connection to Ms. Marvel is established
Disney+ Press identifies Mohan Kapur as Yusuf Khan in its Ms. Marvel episode materials (Disney+ Press). That match of both character and actor confirms the continuity: this is Kamala’s father returning, not Kapur playing an unrelated role. Marvel describes Ms. Marvel as introducing Kamala Khan, a Muslim American teenager growing up in Jersey City.
Does Kamala appear in the episode?
No. The episode-specific coverage notes that Yusuf appears without Kamala. His presence is a character connection between the two series; it does not mean Kamala or the wider Khan family appears in the installment.

Episode and series context
“With Interest” is Season 1, Episode 5 of Daredevil: Born Again. Marvel lists the series as a Disney+ release beginning March 4, 2025, and describes its central story through Matt Murdock’s legal work and Wilson Fisk’s political ambitions (Marvel). Marvel’s public Season 1 cast listing does not name Yusuf, but that omission does not outweigh episode-specific reporting of his appearance.
